Our Client is an international engineering consultancy company.  The client is expanding a team that carries out projects in the field of energy for the industrial sector. We are looking for an individual ready to take on the position of Energy Manager. The suitable candidate combines technical, managerial, and business competencies.

We are looking for a management-oriented person, who (in addition to the necessary skills and experience in team and project management), will have extensive subject matter expertise in:

• Energy efficiency policy in buildings and industry, energy planning, energy management in the industrial and civil sector;
• Strategic consulting in the energy sector, including: developing business models in renewable and decentralized energy, performing feasibility studies in the areas of energy aggregation, energy balancing, CO2 neutrality, RES, biofuels and biomethane, hydrogen and its derivatives, knowledge of energy storage systems, fuel cell solutions, etc;
• Energy legislation, analysis of energy sources development directions, ability to assess the impact of regulations (European Green Deal, EU electricity market design, Clean Energy Package) and implementation advice.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in the energy sector or related roles in business development and project management
• Professional experience in energy and environmental management, renewable energy technologies, environmental law, or a comparable qualification
• University degree in engineering or related discipline allowing to understand the principles and factors affecting energy consumption in buildings and industry
• Interest in innovative low-emission technologies for buildings and industry
• Understanding of mechanisms affecting energy efficiency in buildings and industry
• Knowledge of the renewable energy market
• Knowledge in the field of decarbonization
• Ability to analyze energy consumption in buildings
• Knowledge of relevant Polish and EU legal regulations
• Experience in calculating the profitability of low-emission investments for buildings
• Fluent English
• Analytical skills, focused on details
• Client oriented, business and financial acumen
• Ability to work and collaborate within a matrix organization
• Willingness to travel as needed for business meetings and industry events
